Nathan Keeys is a software engineer with a specialization in UI/UX design, frontend development, and creative code technologies. He has worked in the advertising and consulting spaces for 7 years designing and building user interfaces for websites, applications and digital experiences. As a technologist passionate in art, music, design and technology, Nathan has been a hybrid in the field of software development focusing on design systems, user experience, accessibility, and user interface development.

Nathan has worked with various creative agencies and consultancies such as Accenture, Talooka Studio, Composite, RP3 Agency, Goodbeast and Westat. He also helps educate developers and designers on creative coding and interactive development.

Over the past year Nathan has been invited to speak about Three.js (a web-based 3D graphics library) and creative development for Women in Software Engineering JP ( previously Women Who Code ) in Tokyo and The Collab Lab. In 2021, he also participated in the Over the Structures - International exhibition at the CICA Museum in South Korea. Nathan's exhibition "Noise Shift" was a web-based generative art piece which was coded with Three.js, and GLSL shaders.

As an music artist and producer for almost 20 years, Nathan produces music under the alias 80% Cacao. His work has been featured in various blogs such as Obscure Sound, StereoFox, and ADSR Collective. His sound derives from downtempo electronic and soul roots.
